What is Employee Provident Fund (EPF)?
EPF is a highly popular and mandatory retirement savings scheme in India for salaried employees. Under this scheme, both the employee and the employer contribute 12% of the employee’s basic salary + Dearness Allowance (DA) every month towards the EPF account.
